Ink Techniques
PLASTISOL
This is the industry standard and the most used form of ink. Plastisol ink sits on top of the fabric and is vibrant and is the more durable of the inks. This ink is also the most economical.
WATERBASE
This ink absorbs into the fiber of the fabric thus has a softer feel than plastisol ink. These inks are more eco-friendly and are water soluble.
DISCHARGE
This ink is also a water based ink with a little twist. There is an additive that allows the removal of the dye in the original color of the fabric and replaces it with the color of the ink also giving a soft-to-the-touch feel.
